Peace of mind after you buy.
The purchase price is only part of choosing a car. iWorks includes CarPremium Bronze breakdown cover on eligible vehicles: 12 months, unlimited mileage, with the Bronze premium paid by iWorks. Vehicle eligibility and cover are explained before purchase.
Pre-delivery checks cannot prevent every future breakdown. A warranty helps with repair costs when a covered component fails, and is worth considering when choosing a kei van for long-term use.
From essential cover to wider protection.
Our standard cover is Bronze for 12 months. If you want protection for air conditioning or electrical components, we can quote an upgrade for the price difference.
| Plan | Covered components | Suitable protection |
|---|---|---|
| Bronze — standard plan | 60 | Essential components involved in driving, steering and stopping. |
| Silver | 153 | Essential cover plus air-conditioning faults. |
| Gold | 300 | Wider cover including electrical components. |
| Platinum | 461 | The widest range, including advanced systems. |
These are the official numbers of covered items for used Japanese-brand vehicles. Individual vehicles do not contain every listed component. Check the official list for the exact covered parts.
Upgrade by paying the difference.
iWorks pays for the Bronze 12-month premium. For a higher plan, we check your vehicle and quote the additional amount.

Help through affiliated workshops across Japan.
CarPremium breakdown cover can be used through affiliated workshops nationwide. Customers living far away do not need to return to Nagoya for every warranty repair.
If you have moved or use the vehicle elsewhere, contact the warranty support desk first. They will guide you to an appropriate repair facility.
Contact the warranty provider before repairs begin. Follow their instructions about the workshop and whether the repair can proceed under the warranty.
Contact the support desk when you notice a problem.
Use the contact details on your warranty certificate. If you cannot find them, ask iWorks.
Have the vehicle checked at the designated workshop.
The symptoms are checked and eligibility for cover is assessed.
Repair after approval.
Repairs proceed under the warranty conditions. Confirm any costs that are not covered in advance.
Before you buy
Is every fault repaired free of charge?
No. Cover depends on the components, terms and claim limits of your chosen plan. Consumables and routine maintenance are charged separately.
Can I cover the air conditioning?
Consider Silver or a higher plan that includes air-conditioning cover. Check the official list for the exact components included.
Can I use the warranty if I live far away?
Affiliated workshops across Japan can assist. Contact the warranty support desk first and use the workshop they recommend. Repairs at any workshop without prior contact are not automatically covered.
When do I choose the plan?
Choose when purchasing the vehicle. You cannot join after purchase, so we explain the scope of cover and upgrade difference before you sign.
Are commercial kei vans and black-number-plate vehicles eligible?
Tell us your registration category and intended use before purchase. We will check the vehicle and the applicable warranty conditions.
Discuss the vehicle and its warranty together.
Send us the vehicle you are interested in and how you plan to use it. We can explain eligibility, available plans and the additional cost of an upgrade.
