5. Security safeguards
To prevent leakage, loss, damage, unauthorised access and similar incidents involving personal data, we take necessary and appropriate security measures suited to the size of our business and the information we handle. These include clearly defining responsibilities and internal rules; reviewing how information is handled; restricting access permissions to what is necessary; preventing theft and loss of documents and equipment; authentication using passwords and other methods; using security software; and training employees. In response to a request from the individual concerned, we explain the details of our security safeguards as required by law, to the extent that doing so does not compromise those safeguards.

We provide necessary training and supervision to employees who handle personal data. When we outsource part of our business, we select service providers appropriately and exercise necessary supervision through contracts, checks on how information is handled and other measures.
